UNN Lecturers Protest Pro-Chancellor’s Suspension!

Latest Reports from the University Of Nigeria, Nsukka, reveals that the Lecturers of the Institution are on a Peaceful protest, showing their displeasure at the Federal Government’s sack of the Chairman of the University’s Governing council, Emeka Enejere.

It would be noted that the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman, Governing council of the University, Emeka Enejere, as announced by VNTI Correspondents was suspended yesterday, by the Acting minister of education, Mr Nyesom Wike.

In the same vein, most Lecturers of the Institution, according to VNTI reports are seeking the sack of the University‘s Vice Chancellor, Professor Batho Okolo, after 4 years in Office.

Protesters who began their protests from the freedom square Of the University, in the early hours of today, are now approaching the University‘s 1st gate as chanting continues, in the midst of Several Police and Security officials, behind them, ensuring the protests remain a peaceful one.
