UNILORIN Expels 5 Students Over Academic Misconduct!!

The University of Ilorin, UNILORIN, Kwara State, Nigeria has expelled five students from the institution for alleged acts of misconduct.

According to our reports, the Disciplinary Committee of the institution said after due consideration of all evidence before it, it was convinced beyond reasonable doubt that the allegation of misconduct was established against the students.

The Vice-Chancellor, of the University Of Ilorin, UNILORIN, Prof. Abdul Ganiyu Ambali, in an interview with Newsmen and journalists on Tuesday, confirmed the expulsion of the students, while stating reasons why the were expelled.

According to the Vice Chancellor, before any student could graduate from the University, such student must have been found worthy in learning and character.

He also added that, students are being monitored from their first day on the campus till the last day. Besides, he said the university believed in upholding the rule of law.

He said, “We have various committees put in place to checkmate excesses either of the students or of the staff. We have rules and regulations guiding the conducts of staff and students on campus.”
