>It is not a suprise to note that cults still exists in Nigerian Tertiary Institutions, but, it is terrible to see the nature of the mayhem unleashed by this dreadful individuals in the most inhuman manner. The situation most connected to the decadence in morals of our students who out of dire need for protection against the unknown make deals with the devil oblivious of the fact that the price of renege is death. Most of them at this point begin to climax for any sort of elixir to salvage their life from the hands of the devil.

The Niger Delta University,Wilberforce Island, Bayelsa, Yesterday, discovered the body of a young student of the Institution lying in his own pool of blood after being butchered with an axe. The incident as reported has intensed fear in the University community especially recalling the fact that certain Individuals has gone missing and their whereabouts still unknown.

The situation is worsened by the fact that the Institution lacks hostel accommodation within the campus and as such, students, have to sought for shelter in and around the university town of Ammasoma.

Cultism as it is known as fast becoming a Relic in the University and if not properly and timely checked, might lead to the decadence of the once top rated institution in nigeria.

May the soul of the assailed, through the mercy, rest in peace. Amen
