>The Federal polytechnic, Oko, Anambra state, today commenced a fresh strike action which is believed to be the traditional warning strike as it is known.

The lecturers of the Institution demands an increase in their monthly turn over and according to them, the situation has been left unattended to despite delaying their action for week. On seeing that the government is not interested in their plight, they decided to put forth a demonstration to prove that they have their reasons.

The one week strike if left unattended would naturally lead to an indefinite strike action and as such, we plead with the federal government on behalf of the lecturers to grant ears to the plea of our Teachers so that the Future of TOMORROW'S LEADERS may be bright else, the future of our country would be in jeopardy.

Thanks- VNTI.
