MAUTECH Resumes 7th May, After 2018 Students Riot

Following the religious and political unrest that took place on the 4th of February 2018 at the Modibbo Adama University of Technology, MAUTECH, Yola in Adamawa state, the University Authorities have announced a new resumption date and a revised academic calendar for the 2017/2018 academic session.

The MAUTECH students unrest of February 2018 led to the destruction of Christian student properties e.g worship instruments and the burning of some lectures theatres notably the LT’s in the school of management and information technology (SMIT).

The incident led to the immediate closure of the institution on February 5th, 2018.

The University Authorities have announced that the University would continue her academic activities on the 7th of May, 2018.

Second semester activities would commence on the 16th of July, 2018.
