LASU: ASUU Threatens Strike Over Unmet Demands

The Lagos State University chapter of the Academic Staff Union (ASUU) has threatened to embark on an indefinite strike if its demands are not met by the institution and the Governing Council at the expiration of the ultimatum given which took effect from March 24th.

According to the union the institution is yet to meet the agreed terms of its demands in the last 12 months.

The management of the institution however, has pleaded with the union not to carry out its threat, saying that there are just three out of the 20 initial demands of the union that have not been met and asked for continuous dialogue on the part of the union.
