IMOPOLY Expels 8 Students, Sanctions 22, 147 Others Withdrawn

The Public Relations Officer of the Imo State Polytechnic, Mr. Darlington Oparaocha has disclosed that the institution, has expelled eight students and sanctioned 22 others over examination malpractice and other offences.

Some of these students were said to have been caught with foreign materials in exam halls while others were caught in acts which are capable of destroying lives and property of staff and students of the polytechnic.

In a similar development, 147 students of the institution have been advised to either repeat the session or withdraw from their programmes by the academic board of the institution due to their poor performances.
