EKSU Gets TETFUND Commendation Over Maintenance Culture

Tertiary education Trust Fund (TETFUND) has commended Ekiti State University, EKSU for being a leading example of Universities with a maintenance culture.

The commendation came from the Board of Trustee of the TetFund represented by Lady Hannah Morenikeji Kolawole during a visit to the University. Lady Kolawole came with three members of staff of Tetfund.

She expressed happiness that the fund allocated to EKSU was well utilised and the projects well executed.

Earlier, Mrs Kolawole who is the South West team leader had paid a courtesy visit to the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Patrick Oladipo Aina represented by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), Professor Gbenga Aribisala.

At the occasion, Professor Aribisala urged TetFund to continue to give adequate financial support to the University stressing that EKSU would utilise funds allocated to it judiciously and according to Stipulation by Tetfund.

Several TetFund projects in EKSU were inspected during the Board of Trustee members visit.
