>Boko Haram warns sultan

>Members of the boko haram sect has issued a direct order to the sultan of sokoto ALHAJI MOHAMMED SAID ABUBAKAR 111 to intervene in the release of its members held at various prisons across the state or put the lives of his citizens at risk.

The message given to the newsmen in maidugiri by boko haram spokesman Abu Qaqa reads:

This is an open message to the Sultan(Emir) of sokoto, Alhaji Mohammed Said Abubakar, the speaker of the house of representative, Alhaji Aminu Tambuwal, and the acting governor of the state.

Before we visited kano, we wrote open letters to the senior citizens there on the imperative of releasing our members but nobody cares to talk. Indeed we sent three warnings to kano.

What happened in kano would be inevitable in sokoto unless you intervene and secure the immediate and unconditional release of our members who were specifically arrested in the city of sokoto last week thursday.

The spokesman also went against the suggestion of dialogue by the president saying, "our people are being trailed and killed on one hand and on the other hand, they are asking us to give up arms and come out. This is impossible "
