ASUU Strike 2013 Nears End As Varsities Vote In Favour Of Call Off

The Ongoing ASUU Strike Action by the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU appear to be nearing its much awaited end, after various University chapters of the Union, has voted in favour of the Suspension in various congress held today.

According to our reports, the following Universities have so far voted for the suspension of the four months old strike are
• Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, • Usman Dan Fodio University Sokoto,
• Federal University of Technology MINNA,
• University of Lagos,
• University of Calabar,
• Federal University of Technology Akure, and
• Ekiti State University.
University Of Ibadan
And a couple others.

It is believed that by wednesday when ASUU will hold a NEC meeting the 4 months old strike will be officially suspended.
