Happy Xmas Nigeria, Though Times Are Tough, Love Conquers All- Obasi. D. C. Chinedu

Love and Joy resounds in the hearts of those
who believe in the miracle of Christmas!
Wishing you all the peace, joy, and love
of the season! Season’s Greetings! With Luv!

This Xmas, i want us to remember, with love, those who bravely lost their lives in the battle to save our Nation, against the Outbreak of the Ebola Virus Disease, which has claimed lives of tens of thousands across West Africa Alone.

I personally dedicate this Xmas to an Icon, the grand daughter of Hebert Macauley, Late Dr. Stella Ameyo Adadevoh to which I believe, the citizens Of Lagos and Nigerians at large, Should be grateful for having this Xmas, and not pile of dead bodies, as a result of her Intelligence, discipline and Courage. Sadly, she lost her life to Save Millions of Nigerians whose bodies would have littered our Mortuaries.

Also, in this Xmas, Let us remember the kids of Liberia and Sierra Leone, who have suffered the cruel whip of nature, most of them having no parent or extended Family left, as a result of the Ebola Virus Disease, which has wiped away communities in the Nation!!

There have been over 2,000 registered orphans, since the Ebola plague began this year and more than 7,000 total orphans(unregistered), according to UNICEF!
That’s 7,000 Children without any of their Mother or Father(14,000) parental deaths already, in a country whose total population is not up to that of Lagos alone!!

Also, let us remember the thousands of Children in Nigeria, and beyond without proper feeding, health care, Education and other basic amenities as a result of one or more disasters ranging from terrorism, epidemic or flood, and always Extend our love to them this Xmas. Remember, No child Was born to suffer.

Also, in this Xmas, Let us remember the sufferings of the 100,000+ Nigerians who have either been killed or Internally displaced in their love of Unity and patriotism of their Nation!!

Let us remember with love, the efforts of our courageous Military and all those who have died in the Recent bombings as well as those who have lost their lives protecting our Citizens.

Let also remember the efforts of all persons in leadership positions who have strived earnestly to maintain the status of our Democracy!

And finally, let us pray for the February 2015 elections, that we have a free and fair election, with no blood bath!

I wish you all merry and fun-filled Xmas with love, and a happy and prosperous new year, 2015!!
