UNILORIN 29th Founder’s Day, Convocation Ceremony Begins 14th October 2013

The University Of Ilorin, UNILORIN has completed preparations for her 29th Founder’s Day And Convocation Ceremony which has been scheduled to hold as follows:

1) Monday, 14thOctober 2013: Vice Chancellor’s Press Briefing.
Venue: University Auditorium.
Time: 10am prompt

2) Tuesday 15thOctober 2013: Convocation Play
Title: “Adesewa”( The King’s Daughter), A Dance Theatre written by J.O Ojuade.
Venue: Performing Arts Theatre
Time: Two Presentations: 4 and 6pm respectively.

3) Monday, 21st October 2013
a) Convocation Lecture:
Title: On the Dawn of Nigeria’s Second Century: Challenge of a New
Speaker: Ambassador Walter C. Carrington.
Former US Ambassador to Nigeria
Venue: University Auditorium
Time: 10am prompt
b) Chancellor’s Cocktail in honor of Convocation Lecturer
Venue: Chancellor’s Lodge.
Time: 6pm

4) Tuesday 22nd October 2013
a) Convocation for the award of Prizes, First Degrees and
Diplomas for Faculties of Arts, Education, Law, Management Sciences and Social Sciences.
Venue: University Auditorium
Time: 10am Prompt
b) Commissioning of Projects by the Visitor
Time: 3pm

5) Wednesday 23rd October 2013
a) Convocation for the award of Prizes, First Degrees for Faculties of Agriculture, CIS, Engineering &Tech, Medicine, Science and Postgraduate Degrees and Diplomas.
Venue: University Auditorium
Time: 10am Prompt
b) Convocation Lunche on and Merit Awards.
Venue: Vice-Chancellor’s Lodge
Time: 1pm:
