NOTICE TO ALL STUDENTS, PARRENT/GUARDIAN AND STAFF ON NEW POLICY OF KWASU ON ACQUIRED, CONTROLLED AND MANAGED HOSTELS BOTH IN AND OUTSIDE CAMPUSES
1.1.The University, in addition to the available accommodation on campus, has agreed to manage some private hostel outside the campus.
2.2.That henceforth accommodation is compulsory for all fresher (100,200DE level) students and final year (400,500level) students.
3.3.That all other returning students (200,300level) students may also apply for accommodation.
4.4.All fresher (100,200DE levels) must pay the accommodation fees alongside their tuition as soon as the admission list is released within thetime framed.
5.5.That the clearance for payment for accommodation is a must for a permit to commence registration.
6.6.All final year students (400,500level) students must pay their accommodation fees within the stipulated time upon release of their names and allocated hostels/rooms.
7.7.All other returning students that have been given accommodation mustalso pay within the stipulated period, otherwise forfeit their allocation.
8.8.For hostel accommodation approved list, student allocated KWASU female hostel should pay the fees of₦35,000 while those allocated PPP female hostels (four students in a room, self-contained and fenced) should pay the fees of₦65,000 and ₦60,000 for those allocated the same PPP male hostels (four students in a room and self contained) respectively. Those allocated KWASU newly acquired and managed male and female hostels outside the campus (two students in a room and self contained) should pay the sum of ₦40,000 respectively.
9.9.All students are reminded of the following categories of accommodation available
1.1.Accommodation on campus for both Male and Female students.
2.2.Acquired, managed and controlled University accommodation outside the campus also available for both male & female students.
3.3.Students will enjoy the necessary facility including maximum security that will make their study meaningful.
10.10.All hostel accommodation will be allocated based on first come first serve and all payment will be online through FCMB.
