CONCERNED STUDENTS AGAINST EDUCATION COMMERCIALISATION (COSATEC)
CLARION CALL! CLARION CALL!! CLARION CALL!!!
Solidarity Greetings to all Nigerian Students!!!
We the Concerned Students Against Education Commercialisation (COSATEC) hereby call on the resilient Nigerian Students, Youths, workers and Parents to join us in a protest/rally in respect of the on-going strike embarked upon by the Polytechnic striking staff unions (ASUP, NASU, SSANIP) to press home the genuine demands of the agreement reached with the striking unions by the federal government since 2009. The on-going strike, which is over two (2) months now further expose the deceits, high-handedness, insensitivity and irresponsibility on the part of the Nigerian thieving ruling government. The blame should strictly be put at the door step of the lawless Nigerian govt. for making education to be priced out of the reach of the children of the poor. If all the just demands of the unions are met with, these would not only bring hope into the future of the Nigerian society, but as well break the discrepancy between the university and polytechnic system in Nigeria.
Therefore, we challenge all our colleagues at home especially those who are from federal polytechnics such as FED POLY AUCHI, FED POLY OFA, FED POLY ILARO,FED POLY KADUNA, YABATECH ,FED POLY ADO and several others throughout the country to join, support and not to break the genuine strike of the unions rather call on the government to accede to the demands of the striking staff unions. We shall never relent or tired but referred until the just demands of the unions are met with!
Day of Mass Action: Monday 24th June 2013 @ YABATECH WAEC gate by 8:30am for a protest/rally to save our lives from the shackles and manacles of the oppressors!
VIVA ALUTA, VIVA VICTORIA! AMANDLA AWETHU!!
    NOTHING SHALL DISCOURAGE US!!!
