FUWUKARI Post-Utme 2013/2014 Holds 19th To 20th July!!

In line with the guidelines for admission into her undergraduate degree programmes, Federal University Wukari announces its 2013/2014 Post-UTME screening exercise as follows:

1.0 SCREENING DATES DATE FACULTY
A. Faculty of Pure & Applied Sciences(SC):
o Biochemistry; o Microbiology; o Biology; o Chemistry; o Industrial Chemistry ; o Mathematics; o Statistics; o Computer Science; and o Physics.

B. Faculty of Agriculture & Life Sciences (ALS):
o Agricultural Economics & Extension Services; o Crop Production & Protection; o Animal Production & Health; o Soil Science & Land Resources Management; o Fisheries & Aquaculture; o Forestry & Wildlife Management ; and o Food Science & Technology.

C. Faculty of Humanities, Management & Social Sciences (HMSS) o o o o o o
History and Diplomatic Studies; English and Literary Studies; Economics; Political Science; Accounting ; and, Business Administration

Day 1: Friday 19,July 2013
TIME: Screening of Candidates: 7.30 a.m. ¨C 10.30 pm. Aptitude Test: 11.00 p.m. ¨C 12.00 noon.
Day 2: Saturday 20th July 2013
TIME: Screening of Candidates: 7.30 a.m. ¨C10.30 pm. Aptitude Test: 11.00 a.m. ¨C 12.00 noon. 2.00pm-3.00pm

2.0 Venue Federal University Wukari, Taraba State 3.0

ELIGIBILITY
1. Candidates who obtained the UTME cut-off scores of 180 in the Humanities, Social and Management Sciences (in relevant subjects) and who chose Federal University Wukari as their 1st choice.
2. Candidates who obtained the UTME cut-off scores of 180 in the Sciences (in relevant subjects) who chose Federal University Wukari as their 1st or 2nd choice.
3. Science candidates who did not choose Federal University Wukari as either 1st or 2nd choice but who meet the stipulated UTME cut-off scores of 180 may also apply.
4. Please note that all Candidates are expected to possess five (5) credits at SSCE (or equivalent) in relevant subjects at not more than 2 sittings including credit passes in English and Mathematics;
5. Candidates are also requested to kindly note that credit passes in English Language and Mathematics shall be compulsory for admission into all programmes EXCEPT English & Literary Studies and History & Diplomatic Studies where credit pass in Mathematics is not required;
6. Please note that only Candidates who meet Departmental and Faculty requirements for theirproposed programmes of study are eligible to apply for the 2013/2014 Post-UTME Screening Exercise of the Federal University Wukari.

Candidates should kindly go online and log onto www.fuwukari.edu.ng , the official website of the Federal University Wukari for more information on Departmental and Faculty subject combination requirements for admission to the University. Kindly also note that unqualified Candidates who show up at the venue(s) of the Post-UTME Screening Exercise will notbe screened.

4.0 REGISTRATION PROCEDURE
i. Ensure that you fully qualify to apply for the POST-UTME Aptitude test for the Federal University Wukari by going online and logging onto www.fuwukari.edu.ng website.
Ii. Click on ¡°Faculty and Departmental Subject Combination Requirements for Admission into the 2013/14 academic session of the Federal University Wukari ¡°.
iii. If you meet Departmental and Faculty requirements for your proposed programme of study and stipulated UTME cut off score, go to any branch of UBA and pay the screening fee of N2,000.00 in favour of Federal University Wukari or pay via www.quickteller.com
Iv. Go online and log onto www.fuwukari.edu.ng website and click on ¡°Apply for 2013/14 POST-UTME Aptitude Test¡±. V. Download the Post-UTME Application Form, complete in duplicate and affix your passport photographs;

APPLICATION PROCEDURE FOR 2013/14 POST-UTME SCREENING:

• Go to any branch of UBA and pay the screening fee of N2, 000.00 in favour of Federal University Wukari or pay via www.quickteller.com
• Go online and log onto www.fuwukari.edu.ng website and click on ¡°Apply for POST-UTME Aptitude Test¡±.
• Complete the Post-UTME Application Form, with your passport uploaded;
• On the application portal home page, click on Sign Up Here to register as first time user.
• On the sign up page, Enter your Surname, Other names, Email, Phone Number and your User Name and Password (Note: Email is important for you to receive notifications from theschool) Click on ¡°Click here to Signup¡± button
• This will sign you up and transfer you to logon page. On the login page, enter your user name and the password you used to sign-up above and click on the login button.
• This would transfer you to Applicant Control Center. From the Applicant Control Centre, move your mouse on Upload Passport. Browse to your passport location, select and click upload. (Passport should not be more than 150kb and only .gif, .png and .jpg file formats are allowed)
• After your passport upload is successful, click Post-UTME Application Form. A copy of Electronic Registration Form will appear with preloaded surname and othernames.
• Update your bio-data accordingly, most especially Name, Date of Birth, Local Government and State.
• Fill the Application form; enter your Personal Data, JAMB Information, Choice Of University/Courses and Senior Secondary Examination Data.
• Click “I Agree” button Then click on ¡°Click here to Apply¡± button From the print window that appears, click on Print My Application Form link to get a printed copy of the form for appropriate signature
• Go Back To the Applicant Control Centre and print Acknowledgment Slip from the top left button with the name ¡°Print Acknowledgment Slip¡± You can always login back to the portal to Reprint your application Form or Acknowledgement Slip.
• Remember to use a valid email address so as to get periodic notifications from the School.
• Candidates are expected to bring the two copies of the completed application form and their bank tellers to the venue of the Post-UTME exercise;

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING: Your Application will not be successful if:
• Your UTME score is less than 180 for Sciences and Humanities, Social and Management Sciences;
• You do not possess 5 WAEC, NECO or NABTEB O¡¯Level credit passes in relevant subjects for your proposed programme of study;
• You do not meet Departmental/Faculty requirements for your proposed programme of study;
• If any information entered on your application form differs from what was indicated on your JAMB RegistrationForm.

Important Instructions
Please use exactly the same names (and in the same order) as on your JAMB Registration Form); Kindly fill current andvalid e-mail addresses and cell phone numbers on your Application Form for ease of contact.

5.0 Items to be brought to the Venue of the POST-UTME Screening Exercise
1. UTME Result Slip;
2. Photocopies of SSCE, GCE , NECO or NABTEB results;
3. Two Copies of Completed Application Forms with Passport Photographs affixed;
4. UBA deposit tellerof N2,000.00 in favour of Federal University Wukari;
5. The following writing materials: a. HB pencil; b. Erasers.

6.0 CAUTION
The following items are not allowed in the Screening Halls a. Mathematical tables and calculators; b. Biros and Pens; c. GSM phones (those brought into the halls will be confiscated). Candidates are advised toread the preceding instructions carefully and comply.

  1. The procedures on how to register for post utme is confusing, e.g. there is nothing like “Apply for post utme” so how can i get the form?
