The saga involving the 2012/2013 FUTO post-utme results continues, as cases involving Examination Malpractice at the test deepens. The latest update from the University suggests that a some of the results would be released, while most others would be withheld for malpractices.

After the last meeting held concerning the recent post-utme screening results, discovery revealed that candidates who sat for the screening test on the last day(saturday) were involved in some acts of Examination malpractice.
As a result of the discovery, previous screening tests, conducted on thursday and friday were equally suspected to have been contaminated but no evidence have been revealed to prove this, Hence , the whole results were held ransom.
The decision on the release or cancellation of the results are being delayed because the VICE CHANCELLOR is yet to make a statement as well as the D.V.C ACADEMICS.
The ideal suggestion now is either to release the screening results of candidates who wrote their examinations, before saturday, hereby cancelling that of saturday.
The other alternative involves cancelling the entire screening examination, and re-scheduling it for a new date(in the steps of UNN).
VNTI Nigeria urges all prospective candidates of the Federal University of Technology Owerri(FUTO) to be steadfast on prayer and seek the grace of the lord in their admission and results, especially those who were screened on saturday, because, mostly, a release of Malpractice labelled results, involves a reduction in the marks of the candidates affected.

the people that wrote on ist and 2nd day surfed, those candidate needs compsation despite their bad results. where are the inveglators are they sleeping in the hall.to save the institution time and money those department that wrote on saturday should addmitt with conditions not base on high scores.what may let the entire school not be cancelled for seek of people coming from other states like lagos

I beliv there might av been malpractises in al d xam days just dat it was nt detected as dat of saturday bt one thing i knw was dat God is watching n dose dat he signs wil b admitted no matter aw long d result is witheld (Nigerians shud learn 2 avoid malpractise cos it only brings more n more curruption into d system.)

I WAITED FOR HER UNTIL EXAM WAS OVER. THERE WAS NO SIGN OR SUSPICION OF EXAM MALPRACTICE. THERE WAS THE PRESENCE OF A DEAN/PROFESSOR AMONG THE INVIGILATORS. THERE WAS NO COMPLAINT. AND MY FRIEND HAS TRAVELED, NOW IN GHANA SATISFIED WITH THE CONDUCT OF THE EXAM. FUTO, PLZ DON’T BE WICKED TO STUDENTS! PARENTS ARE NOT FINDING THIS EASY. We did not see any Exam malpractice, the invigilators and professor, lecturer etc. are invegilating during this Exam. they did not cancel it, this is the first time to hear this such a thing in FUTO. Pls this result should not be cancelled. the Vice Chancellor please use your good office to treat this serious matter easy.
can sombdy say d truth. The questions leak and many that get hold of it in time will have undue success which will jeopardise admission of innocent one. You dat are shouting, release, release, be rest assure that if u did’t get d question b4 exam, u may missed d adimision if they release it. Think!!!

I came all alone 4rm Lagos and dnt even knw any1 in Owerri, i did mine on saturday and evriwhr within my hall was calm under d invigilation of dia so called sleepin supervisorz. I also knw dat i didnt make pass 240+ coz i cross-checked afta d exam,If i was involved in any sort malpractise pls God deny me admssn in2 dskul bt if i wasn’t,i’m gonna start of ma 1st yr in futo as a STATISTICS student thru christ Jesus…..Amen!
in the history of examinations it has not been 100% perfect and i don’t believe using suspicion and rumour without base to cancel the results. This will be a very big burden and punishment to the parents, i plead that FUTO should take precaution when next the examination will be holding. FUTO has really frustrated candidates even those that didnt involve themselves in any form of misconduct
because I wrote my exam at FUTO on Friday, not even involved in any examination malpractice because the the hall i wrote my exams in and the invigilator (@New Saat building Lecture hall 1) was strict at the end I was given no result WHY?
