The Federal University, Otuoke(FUOTUOKE) bayelsa state has completed preparations for the 2012/2013 post-utme screening of second choice candidates, who applied for a place of study in the Institution.

• The screening examination would take place between Thursday and Friday July 26 and 27, 2012 as follows:
– Thursday July 26 – Science candidates only: Science (Biochemistry, Biology, Botany, Chemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics, Microbiology, Physics, Statistics and Zoology).
– Friday July 27: All others (Arts, Social Sciences and Management Sciences).
• Eligibility : Applicants must have a minimum of 180 in JAMB 2012.
• Candidates made FUOTUOKE first choice but missed the first choice post-utme screening are also eligible to participate.

Registration is done online at the University website from the 10th of July and ending on July 23, 2012.
• Candidates are to visit any:
– Diamond,
– First Bank,
– Skye Bank,
– Trans Atlantic Mortgage Bank branches in Yenagoa or any Diamond Bank and Skye Bank branch in Nigeria along with your UTME Registration Slip.
• Candidates are required to obtain an e-pin slip for Post-UTME Screening. After a payment of two thousand naira(N2,000.00) only in favour of the University.
• Candidates ate to proceed with the PIN online and log onto (www.fuotuoke.edu.ng) and link the site (www.fuotuoke.ac) by clicking on Apply for PUTME Screening.
• Candidates are required to Complete the online application for Post-UTME Screening.
• The Passport photograph – the passport photograph will be captured by using a web camera available on the computer you are using for the online registration.
——— You do not need to scan and upload a photograph for the registration.
———Candidates must ensure that the computer they are using has a web camera.
• Print out the generated Acknowledgment Letter and your Application Form.
———-Your seat number for the screening exercise will be indicated on the form.
———-You must bring these (Acknowledgment Letter and Application Form) along to the screening test venue.

Candidates are required to note that their application will not be successful if:
• your UTME score is less than 180
• the appropriate e-pin was not used
• you enter a State of Origin different from the one indicated on your JAMB FORM

    I choosed futuoke as my 2nd choice, i love the school and i want to be there. But, i had english, econs, geography and crs, what course can i study wit that? Though, i earlier choose political science, can i still go for it wit that combination?

I dnt knw how d mistake was done in my jamb exams, instead of government, i was given geography, and am going for political science, though i pass govt. in my waec papers. Can i still go for d course wit my jamb combination of english, econs, crs and geo.? If not, which other course can study wit it at FUTUOKE? Thanks

    • @John, Different Universities have varying procedures. The University would give you her own post-utme screening subjects. If your combination is not allowed, they would inform you on which course to change to
