TODAY IN HISTORY: DEMOCRACY DAY

Today Is widely known in Nigeria as the “DEMOCRACY DAY” and its a general public holiday as it has been.
Below is an excerpt from Kofi Annan, The 7th Secretary General of The United Nations.

“No one is born a good citizen; no nation is born a democracy. Rather, both are processes that continue to evolve over a lifetime. Young people must be included from birth. A society that cuts off from its youth severs its lifeline.” ~ Kofi Annan.

Happy Democracy Day From VNTI Nigeria.
