MAU STUDENTS PROTEST CHANGE OF NAME

The recent democracy day broadcast, by His Excellency, President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, has been causing all sorts of Havoc at the Moshood Abiola University(Formerly University of Lagos) as the students have looked at the pot from the back after The president in his speech effected a change of Name and Identity of the Institution, a situation which the University students deemed unacceptable.

The protests began after the declaration yesterday, where the students where seen with bill boards and notes which showed their displeasure at the decision and vowed that they would never accept the change.

Having noticed that their desires were not attended to, the UNILAG(now MAU) students have moved to the 3rd mainland Bridge which connects the Lagos mainland to the Lagos Island, blocking the road with all sort of Things, including buses and has vowed not to stop, until the change is reformed.
