The Joint admission and Matriculation board, (JAMB) has calmed fears over the possibility of holding the exams in security threatened states.
Speaking to Newsmen in Abuja earlier today(tuesday), the registrar of Jamb, Professor Dibu Ojerinde guaranteed all participants of their safety in the security threatened states of the north. He said that all security forces including the JTF, SSS, ARMY COMRADES, POLICE TASK FORCE, and other security organizations have been informed and would be present at the location in mass numbers at midnight before the examination day.
He also mentioned that more improve biometric scanners would be employed to improve the efficiency of the verification process and ensure that only registered candidates sit for the examination.
Professor Ojerinde ask all examiners and Invigilators to devoid from any practice of acts that might lead to examination malpractice while advising the candidates not to come with mobile phones, electronic or Writing devices as all required materials for the examination would be provided by the board.
