>AFTERMATH OF FEDPOLY OKO RIOT; INSTITUTION FACES TWO WEEKS LEAVE

>The management and staff of the Federal polytechnic Oko, Anambra state, after the events of monday, has decided to send students home for the time being, while they find solutions to the lingering death crisis.

Riot broke out in the Institution as a result of the death of two of her students, allegedly killed by masquerades of the province in their celebration of culture.

The students of the institution termed this unbearable and as a result, took law into their own hands, a situation which resulted in many casualties.

For the safety of the students and the society at large, the management of the Institution has issued a two weeks compulsory break in which all students are required to return home, while they resolve in restoring peace back to the area.
